2017 KTM Super Duke 1290

Hi!  Thanks for looking at my KTM!!
The Super Duke is pure lunacy manifested as a motorcycle.  It is terrifyingly fast, rides superbly and needs nothing but a new owner to love it as much as I have. How fast, you might ask? 0-60 time is reportedly less than 2.3 seconds, though I cannot personally attest to that.  I can say it’s probably the closest thing to a fighter jet I'll have the pleasure of operating.   Suffice it to say this machine is mind-numbingly fast.  On paper, bone-stock, this bike makes 174 Horsepower and 104 foot-pounds of torque, but this machine is not stock. It has a custom ECU tune from OpenFlash that makes decidedly greater power than stock. It’s wild.
It is also garage-kept, adult owned, kept on a trickle charger, ridden regularly, thoroughly maintained, and genuinely loved.  All maintenance has been performed on time, and, all work completed was by one of 2 local KTM dealerships.  I have receipts for almost everything.  I am the second owner.  The bike has 15950 original miles, of which about 1000 were put on by the first owner.  This bike cosmetically is very clean for almost 16000 miles, though it does have some imperfections, though only cosmetically. Also, I just had it serviced, so It’s ready to be ridden!

This Super Duke does not run stock tires which I believe are Metzler Racetec RR’s. It instead is outfitted with Michelin Road 5's, 190 55 zr17 in the back, and a 120 70 zr17 in the front. Tires are a little over half worn.
For an agreeable sale price, i will also include thousands in spare parts, including, but not limited to:
-Fairings
-front fender
-all original exhaust/emissions equipment
-spare comfort seat
-pillion seat
-spare rear tire (Road 5 with half tread remaining)

I'm available if you'd like to inspect the bike in person or bring a mechanic with you. The bike is currently registered so it can be ridden legally on the road. If you intend to test ride my Super Duke, have full payment in hand, as I will turn over the key to you ONLY in that instance.  Payment will be accepted in cash or a cashier’s check.
To that effect, the bike is not owned entirely outright, but, when a deal is struck, it can be paid off in a matter of minutes, so that won’t be an issue.

The actual mileage of the bike is not reflected in the odometer, as the original unit was damaged beyond repair, and I purchased the current screen used.  What I nor the KTM Tech didn’t know, was that each screen unit has an irreversible odometer.  The present unit, unbeknownst to me, had 40000 miles on it, although the bike itself only has 15950 miles.  KTM was unable to reprogram the screen unit to reflect the actual mileage of the bike, but I have written testimony from one of the service writers at the KTM dealership reflecting the proper mileage.
