Antique Edwardian 14kt Yellow Gold & 3.7mm Diamond Filigree Pendant. This is a STUNNING Antique Pendant that began its life as a brooch. There is a delicate filigree design that is so classically Edwardian and it features a large and SUPER BRIGHT White Diamond! The Diamond is an Old Mine Cut and it is so sparkly that it was difficult to photograph.
The Diamond is set into a White Gold miligrain setting and is gorgeous! The Pendant has a wonderfully reddish-pink patina on the back that shows in spots on the front and I have left this beauty un-cleaned because the patina is so lovely.
The original brooch was marked 14kt for solid gold with a markers mark for Bippart, Griscom & Osborn. The new bale is marked 14kt and the piece weighs 3.2 grams. It measures a little over 2-1/8", including the bale.
