BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BOHEMIAN GARNET 150 STONE PYROPE GARNET NECKLACE

A rare FIND at a Vintage Estate Sale!  SELLING IN THE $$$$ ON LINE!  17" long Victorian Bohemian Garnet necklace has 150 faceted Pyrope garnet dark red stones (2 empty sockets where stones are missing. 1 multiple stone "leaf"  has to be reattached).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Original patina on stones & metal sections. No attempt made by me to dust,clean or polish piece(There is a scattering of "greenish" areas on the metal sections. I suspect the Verdigris condition is a result of the natural patina that forms when copper oxidizes. Further, the base alloy metal might be copper with a silver overlay).                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Each metal piece holding a stone has a opening on the bottom.Each of the larger stones appear to have faceted flat surfaces with a roundish/8 sided appearance. The bottom stones have a pointed faceted  appearance.
