Jeanette Poinsettia 9” Glowing Green depression glass - vegetable bowl

Description

One of the prettiest of all the Depression Glass patterns is the Floral by Jeannette offered here in a green Oval Serving Bowl. Often known by its nickname, "Poinsettia," for its resemblance to that flower, the mold is an all over pattern of star-shaped flowers with pointed petals and long, pointed leaves. The pattern covers the outside of the bowl including the bottom.
This lovely bowl measures 9-inches long by 6-3/4 inches wide by 2-inches deep.
This pattern was made by Jeannette from 1930 to 1935. There is no mark.
Surface scratches and shelf wear are kept to a minimum, and other than the expected flaws characteristic of Depression Era Glass, such as bubbles, mold seam roughness, or other irregularities, there is no damage.
Bowls in any depression glass pattern are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Imagine this beauty on your Easter table!
