    Description

    Offered is a lot of 13 different b/w photographs of Ogallala Sioux Indians at the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota and Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Photographer was (Mrs) Ben Lewis of NYC. 1950s. The images are of various size and depict different themes from ceremonies, to homes, everyday life, and all are in full native garb. The images range in size from 8” x 10” to 4 ¼” x 6 ½”. Most have hand written notes on the back as to the location. (Two have no notes). Also most are noted by Mrs Ben Lewis 56 7
