SIERRA "PINWHEEL" JEANNETTE GLASS CO. 8 1/2" GREEN DEPRESSION BOWL 1931-1933 # 8

Up for auction is One VINTAGE ORIGINAL SIERRA "PINWHEEL" JEANNETTE GLASS CO. 8 1/2 INCH GREEN DEPRESSION BOWL 1931-1933 made by the Jeannette Glass Co. This glass was machine made by pressing the melted glass into the mold which results in its beautiful design of "saw teeth". I only wish I had more, because it is so gorgeous particularly as it glows under UV light. When used on a dining room table for entertainment, this bowl must have looked really awesome on the table. It measures 3.5 inches tall (deep), with a 8 3/5 inch wide top opening, siting on a 3 1/4 inch round bottom, as can be seen in the last two photographs. It is absolutely beautiful even with 2 of the chipped top points, as seen in the photographs. I
guess these 2 chipped top points isn't too bad considering the bowl is 87-89 years old.
